ALPHA 870-25 is a neutral pH, intermediate activity flux based on a water soluble resin and does not contain organic acid activators.
ALPHA 870-25 is recommended for mass soldering applications where traditional organic water soluble fluxes are considered too corrosive. It has excellent characteristics for foam application and can also be applied by wave, spray dip or brush techniques.
ALPHA 870-25 can be effectively cleaned with plain water. Disposal of water washing effluents does not present a problem, since they are biodegradable. However, pH adjustment maybe needed.

Neutral pH Water Soluble for Wave/Rework Flux
ALPHA 870-25 is a 25% solids, neutral pH water soluble flux that is suitable for wave and also rework when supplied in flux pen.
Developed with a modified surface tension to aid in soldering, this flux formulation possesses improved wetting characteristics and superior corrosion inhibiting properties.
