MacDermid Alpha to Showcase Latest Integrated Solutions at Productronica Europe

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a leader in integrated materials and technologies for the electronics industry, will highlight its latest solutions from its Alpha, Electrolube, and Kester product brands. The range includes high-reliability alloys, solder pastes, adhesives, conformal coatings, and thermal interface materials with information available at stand A4 #349 at the Productronica Europe tradeshow from Tuesday 14 – Friday 17 November in Munich, Germany.

MacDermid Alpha’s technology experts will be on hand to discuss how our range of products enhances the reliability, performance, and sustainability of circuit board and semiconductor assembly applications, catering to industries including automotive, communication, and power electronics.

MacDermid Alpha is continuously developing new technology innovations to solve assembly issues and meet the needs of ever-evolving markets and industries.

Highlighted at the show will be two new products:

ALPHA® OM-362, next-generation ultra-low voiding, high-reliability solder paste, designed to provide ultra-low voiding performance on all component types including bottom termination components. The newest addition to their solder paste range, ALPHA OM-362 complies with IPC Class III voiding on BGA components, averaging less than 10% voiding on bottom terminated components (BTC).

ALPHA® SF828-MBB photovoltaic (PV) flux specially designed for advanced multi-busbar PV interconnection. The product is aimed at soldering smaller surface areas of wire and delivering excellent peel force and high machine cleanliness for increased solder joint reliability and higher power transfer efficiency.

MacDermid Alpha will also demonstrate a range of sustainability initiatives that can help reduce your ecological footprint and ensure regulatory compliance. From low-temperature, lead-free pastes to enable reduced energy consumption, by using biopolymers rather than petrochemicals in conformal coatings and through their solder scrap recycling program to reduce natural resource consumption. These chemistries are compliant with applicable regulations including RoHS and REACH.
