MacDermid Alpha Offers Full Line of Environmentally Friendly, REACH Compliant Soldering Products
(Waterbury, CT USA) – MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions offers a full line of environmentally friendly wave soldering fluxes, solder pastes and chemicals. In line with the latest REACH Annex XIV regulations banning the use of Nonylphenol Ethoxylate (NPE) and Octylphenol Ethoxylate (OPE) based surfactants due to come into effect in Europe on the 4th January 2021, MacDermid Alpha is ready to offer customers soldering products that ensure compliance to the regulation.
MacDermid Alpha’s range of NPE/OPE free, REACH Compliant ALPHA Soldering Products have been designed as drop-in replacements for existing products that contain the annexed surfactants. The chemistries have been developed using environmentally friendly forumulations, whilst still ensuring excellent solder performance and the highest levels of reliability.
